I’ve been a gardener most of my life. But since 2018 I’ve been specialising in tropical plants – despite the cold, dreary place where I live. I began chronicling my journey in November 2019 on YouTube. At time of writing, I’m growing: orchids, Begonias, Streptocarpus (Cape Primrose), Cyclamen, many carnivorous plants (Nepenthes, Drosera), Saintpaulias (African Violets), Tradescantias (Wandering Jew), Pelargoniums, Gesneriads, Kohleria and many more – all in a 10 x 14 foot greenhouse.

If you love the plants I’ve mentioned so far, then you’ll find many helpful videos of all my trials and tribulations as I’ve learned and grown, failed and succeeded along the way. I’ll add the videos onto this blog, along with a blog post for those people who prefer to read than watch.
